“Abbiamo riflettuto sul fatto che le immagini classiche di Sassoon rappresentassero gli “swinging sixties”, fotografati da David Bailey nelle vie di Soho e Carnaby Street a Londra. Questo è diventato il punto di partenza della nostra ispirazione: Soho. Se i tagli fossero stati creati oggi, come sarebbero stati immortalati? Abbiamo quindi deciso di creare una collezione che combina due vision. La prima è un omaggio alle immagini classiche di Sassoon, realizzate come se fossero state fotografate ai tempi da David Bailey nel suo studio di Soho, mentre la seconda serie è ispirata ai nuovi “club kids” di Soho. Stesso modello, stesso taglio, ma rielaborato.” Mood By Project Sassoon “We discussed how the classic Sassoon images are synonymous with the swinging sixties, photographed by David Bailey and, therefore also London’s Soho and Carnaby Street. This became the starting point of our inspiration – Soho. Sharing ideas about if the cuts were created today, how would they be captured? So, we decided to create a collection that combines two sets of images. The first is a homage to the classic Sassoon images, produced as if they were photographed by David Bailey from his Soho studio and the second set which is inspired by the diverse club kids of Soho.
